Our general volunteering sessions run every Weds, Sat and Sun from 10.30 - 3pm (brew first and ready for action at 11!). Funded by The Tudor Trust they are suitable for anyone who wants to get involved in our work and get their hands dirty - you will be part of a team in either the nursery, sales area, gardens or site maintenance led by an experienced staff member. There are plenty of things on the 'to do' list and we can cater for most people…admin, cafe and caretaking roles are also available. We also provide a vegetarian lunch for volunteers. To become a volunteer at HCGC you MUST first attend an induction session which are every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 1.30pm.
